Remodel Readiness Question
#23

Have you figured out what kind of support you’ll actually need from each professional — for example, how much design help, what types of drawings or visuals, or how much guidance through selections and decisions?

Why It Matters

Each professional offers a different kind of help — some focus on ideas, some on technical drawings, and others on managing construction. Knowing what kind of help you need keeps expectations clear.

The Downfall

If you don’t define the kind of support you need, you can end up paying for the wrong level of service — or assuming your designer or architect will provide something that isn’t included.

Do It Right

Before hiring, make an extensive list of what you’ll expect from each person — like drawings, renderings, design revisions, or site visits. Clarity now prevents frustration later.
