Remodel Readiness Question
#18

Have you thought about where you’ll live and how your family will manage daily life during the construction phase of your remodel?

Why It Matters

Life during construction is noisy, dusty, and disruptive. Thinking through your living plan keeps your remodel tolerable and on schedule.

The Downfall

Families who skip this discussion face burnout halfway through the project. Living in a construction zone without a plan creates chaos, stress, and delays.

Do It Right

Discuss what you can realistically handle. If you’ll stay home, set boundaries for work hours and safe zones. If you’ll move out, plan housing early — short-term rentals go fast once permits are pulled.
